§ Mr. Joel BarnettI regret that this information is not available centrally. The term "goods and services" has a special meaning in relation to public expenditure and national income. It includes wages and salaries, Forces' pay, rents, purchase464W of land and buildings, construction and purchase of vehicles, plant and materials. These items are not analysed according to country of expenditure within the United Kingdom, partly because of difficulties in classification and definition, and partly because of estimating difficulties.
