HC Deb 25 June 1974 vol 875 c390W
24. Mr. Blaker

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what factors he took into account in fixing the allocation of £900,000 to Lancashire for minor works in 1974–75.

Mr. Armstrong

In allocating the resources available for minor works in 1974–75 account has been taken of the needs of both of those authorities whose school population would still be increasing rapidly in 1975 and of those with large numbers of small, old primary schools. The effects of local government reorganisation have also been taken into account.
