§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) when he expects to confirm the Countryside Commission's 1972 route for the Wolds Way;
(2) whether he will meet members of the Rambler's Association and other interested bodies to discuss the need for the early confirmation by the Countryside Commission of the 1972 Wolds Way.
§ Mr. Denis HowellI understand that further consultations between the commission and the interested parties on the line for this route took place earlier this month. I shall give early consideration to whatever proposals the commission may now decide to put forward to me for confirmation.
