§ Mr. Normantonasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he will make an announcement about the decision taken to establish, within the European Economic Community, a new co-ordinating organisation of research organisations, entitled the Federation of European Industrial Co-operative Research Organisations.
§ Mr. MeacherI understand that the organisation to which the hon. Member refers, a voluntary association of non-Governmental research organisations in a number of European countries, is still in process of formation. A committee has recently been set up which has the aim of establishing the organisation by 1st January 1975.
