§ 40. Mr. Stonehouseasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will take steps to have fencing erected along the M6 motorway through Walsall to prevent young children crossing the motorway and causing accidents.
§ Mr. CarmichaelWire mesh has been attached to the existing post and four rail fence but despite efforts to keep it in good repair it has frequently been broken. We shall replace the length concerned by chain link fence, 6 ft. high, as soon as possible.
