Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer why it took him until 10th June to reply to the letter sent to him by the hon. Member for Newham, North-West on 19th April concerning the taxation liabilities of illegal immigrants; and what was contained in this letter which could not have been sent at any time in the preceding 10 weeks.
