HC Deb 18 June 1974 vol 875 c139W
Mr. Craigen

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the extent to which the Scottish Office is involved in the reassessment of the Channel Tunnel project in relation to its probable social and economic effects on Scotland.

Mr. William Ross

The social and economic implications for Scotland and other regions form an integral part of the full reassessment which the Government are carrying out. The Scottish Office will be closely associated with this work.
