asked the Secretary of State for Industry (1) how many applications for grants from EEC funds have been received by his Department for projects in the South-West Development Area since 1st January 1974; how many were passed to the commission before 1st March 1974; and how many are still being processed;

(2) how many applications for grants from EEC funds have been received by his Department for assistance to companies in the South-West Development Area since 1st January 1974; how many were passed to the Commission before 1st March 1974; and how many are still being processed.
