The French Foreign Minister, in his capacity as the current Chairman of the Political Co-operation Machinery of the Nine, and M. Ortoli, as President of the European Commission, are meeting the Secretary General of the Arab League and the Kuwait Foreign Minister in Paris today. As my right hon. Friend made clear to the House in his statement on 19th March—[Vol. 870, c. 864.]—we welcome the opening of a dialogue between the Community and the Arab States.
