§ Mr. Brewisasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what action she has taken to publicise those proposals, within the area of her responsibility, of the EEC social action programme originating from the Paris summit conference.
§ Mr. O'MalleyMy Department is occupied at present mainly with the proposals for pilot schemes to combat poverty and for measures aimed at fitting the handicapped for full employment. As these are still being considered in consultation with organisations working in the relevant fields, general publicity would be inappropriate at this stage, but I shall be considering this later.
