40. Mr. Wellsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he expects to answer the letters sent to the Financial Secretary to the Treasury by the hon. Member for Maidstone relating to taxation and similar matters relating to different constituents on 25th April 1974, 16th May 1974, 5th June 1974, 12th June 1974 and 18th June 1974.
§ Dr. GilbertI have written to the hon. Member in reply to his letters of 25th April, 16th May, 12th June and 18th June. I can find no trace of a letter from the hon. Member of 5th June but I have received a letter dated 11th June to which I have also replied.
