§ Mr. BishopFigures for the production of United Kingdom butter and cheese since the Prices Act was passed are not available. Figures are published on a calendar month basis and production of butter and cheese in the months of July 1973 totalled 9,080 tons and 15,455 tons respectively; figures for July 1974 are not yet available. The utilisation of milk available for manufacture is a matter for the industry and trade to determine but some increase in cheese production seems likely.
