§ 45. Mr. Liptonasked the Minister for the Civil Service if he will make a statement on the dispute affecting the printing of parliamentary papers.
§ Mr. Robert SheldonI informed the House on 10th July that the printing of parliamentary papers was being impeded by the industrial action of the National Graphical Association in support of a claim for improved pay and conditions. The situation has now deteriorated and meetings with the officials of the National Graphical Association have so far failed to find a basis for settlement.
Copies of the documents essential for the business of the House have continued 64W to be made available, in limited quantities, in one form or another.
