asked the Secretary of State for Trade on what date the interim report of inspectors appointed by his Department to investigate the affairs of the Lowson Group was referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will make a statement on the report of the inspectors on the business affairs of Sir Denys Lowson.

The interim report of the inspectors was submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions on 29th May and published on 23rd July. It is hoped that the final report will be submitted to my right hon. Friend towards the end of the year.
