§ Mr. EnnalsThe United Kingdom has played a major part in drawing up the guidelines for such reserves. The third session of the International Co-ordinating Council for the Man and the Biosphere Programme will be held in Washington in September and will cover all aspects of this programme, including the question of biosphere reserves. The United Kingdom, as a member of the International Co-ordinating Council, will be sending a delegation to this meeting. The delegation will be led by Mr. J. N. R. Jeffers, Deputy Director of the Natural Environment Research Council Institute of Terrestrial Ecology.
