Mr. Wyn Roberts

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he has carried out a survey to find out how many pedestrians seek to cross the A55 at the Iron Bridge, Penmaenmawr at various times of day during the summer months, and, if so, what were the results of the survey.

Mr. John Morris

Gwynedd County Council as my agent authority has been asked to carry out a census of pedestrians and vehicles at this crossing point. I will write to the hon. Member as soon as the results are available.

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many road accidents have occurred on the A55 near the Iron Bridge, Penmaenmawr, in each of the last five years.
