Mr. MacCormackasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will provide figures comparing the total catch of nephrops in Scotland in the period beginning 30th March 1974 to the latest available date with the same period in 1973; and if he will give figures comparing the value of the catch landed over the same periods.
§ Mr. William RossLandings of nephrops in Scotland by British vessels amounted to 64,400 cwt between 31st March and 6th July 1974, the nearest period for which figures are available. They were valued at £1,517,800. During 551W the comparable period in 1973 the landings totalled 62,000 cwt valued at 1,664,600.
