asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will now undertake a comprehensive review of existing Scottish private road legislation.

Mr. William Ross

The Burgh Police (Scotland) Acts 1892 and 1903 which contain much of the legislation dealing with private streets are being examined by the Working Party on Civic Government.
