HC Deb 25 July 1974 vol 877 cc531-2W
Mr. Tierney

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what representations he has received from parents regarding the choice of comprehensive schools for their children in areas where there is a fully comprehensive system.

Mr. Armstrong

Many representations are made to my right hon. Friend by individual parents who wish their children to be admitted to schools other than those at which places have been allocated to them. Those cases which concern comprehensive schools are dealt with on the same basis as others, in the light of the relevant statutory provisions, and no separate record is kept.
