asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement on the widening and deepening of Aberdeen harbour.

Mr. Mulley

As I have informed the hon. Gentleman by letter, approval has now been given to the harbour board's scheme to widen and deepen the dock entrance, and Government loans will be available to meet the cost.
