HC Deb 22 July 1974 vol 877 c339W
Mr. Kenneth Clarke

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what steps he is taking to assist and protect the interests of British subjects who are members of the Ahnadiyya Muslim sect at present resident in Pakistan and suffering social discrimination in the present campaign against the sect in that country; and what representations he has made to the Government of Pakistan on their behalf.

Mr. Ennals

No reports have been received of any British subjects having suffered during the recent secular disturbances in Pakistan. Consequently, we have not made any representations to the Government of Pakistan.
