§ Mr. Milneasked the Minister of Overseas Development if she will list the amounts paid to Malta in development aid in each of the years from 1964 to 1974 and the projects for which they were intended.
§ Mrs. HartTotal disbursements from United Kingdom aid funds to Malta from 1964 are given below by United Kingdom financial years:—

There were several hundred projects covering many aspects of social and economic development in Malta. The heads of expenditure were as follows:
Water, Industry, Tourism, Agriculture, Fisheries, Technical Education, Higher Education, Primary and Secondary Education, Roads, Sewers, Public Works and Buildings, Development Corporation, Dockyard, Port Development, Emigration, Electricity, Health, Housing, Antiquities, Restoration of Historic Buildings, War Damage.Throughout the whole period expenditure has also been incurred from regional and various functional technical assistance programmes.
