asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he is satisfied with the machinery of the National Dock Labour Board and the local dock labour boards regarding the settling of disputes; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Booth

The National Dock Labour Board is statutorily responsible for the administration of the Dock Workers Employment Scheme 1967 and its functions do not include settling disputes.
