§ Mr. John SilkinI welcome the initiative of those authorities which have set up planning advice centres and my hon. Friend the joint Under-Secretary of State. the Member for Widnes (Mr. Oakes), has already visited those at Leeds and Winchester. I am following with interest the progress of this development, which was strongly advocated in the interim report on development control by Mr. George 371W Dobry, Q.C., I shall consider whether a circular is necessary when we have more experience of the working of the existing centres.
