asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will give a reprieve to the 10p savings stamp threatened by the Page Report, in view of requests from voluntary workers of the National Savings Movement.

My right hon. Friend is considering the future of the National Savings Stamp with the two chairmen of the National Savings Voluntary Movement, and he hopes to be able to make a statement soon.
