HC Deb 24 January 1974 vol 867 c348W
Dr. Dickson Mabon

asked the Lord Advocate when he instituted an inquiry into the usefulness of introducing a system of administrative law as in France to seek to provide simpler and wider forms of legal redress for individuals aggrieved by administrative reforms.

The Lord Advocate

I have not instituted an inquiry into the matter mentioned by the hon. Member. In 1970 the then Secretary of State and Lord Advocate invited the Scottish Law Commission to advise on the question of existing remedies in Scots law for the judicial control of administrative acts and omissions. I understand the commission's report is in course of preparation.
