§ Mr. Meacherasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list all the various groups of workers who have made pay settlements within stage 3 to the latest available day; how many workers are in each group; what was the average percentage gross pay increase in each case; what was the previous average level of gross pay; and what is the new level following this settlement.
§ Mr. ScottThe Pay Board issues monthly figures of settlements which it has received and which it has approved with estimates of the numbers of employees covered by these settlements. Quarterly reports made to my right hon. Friend and laid before Parliament in accordance with Schedule 1 to the Counter-Inflation Act 1973 have also included statistical information. The next report will cover the three months from 1st December 1973 to 28th February 1974 which is the first complete quarterly period to fall within stage 3.264W It is not the practice, however, to name individual settlements.
