§ Dame Joan Vickersasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government towards the agreement made by the Argentine and the Republic of Panama to support each other at the United Nations in order to try to absorb the Falklands and the Panama Canal Zone in their respective countries.
§ Mr. AmeryHer Majesty's Government have noted the joint communiqué issued in Buenos Aires after the visit of the President of Panama. The attitudes adopted by other Governments in the United Nations is a matter for those Governments to decide. Her Majesty's Government's position on the Falkland Islands is well known to all Latin American Governments.
