Mr. Rossi

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will now appoint a day for the coming into force of Part III of the Control of Pollution Act 1974 relating to noise, having regard to the concern expressed by the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution in its Fourth Report.
