asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether his plans for the Territorial Army provide for the retention of the existing parachute battalions.

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what parachute capability it is proposed to retain for the Army under the defence review.

We intend to retain a limited parachute capability, on which detailed studies and consultations with our allies are in progress.
