The Government have decided to transfer 500 posts of the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys from London, and 193W the Director and Registrar-General is considering which sections of his office are to be dispersed. After consulting all interested bodies the Director and Registrar-General hopes to announce his decision early in 1975.
