§ Mr. William Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection if she will introduce legislation to prevent brewery companies, when selling licensed premises, imposing covenants restricting sales on the licensed premises to the products of stipulated brewery companies.
Mr. Alan WilliamsI have no evidence as yet to suggest that legislation would be justified, but if my hon. Friend will send me any information he may have about recent attempts to impose restrictive covenants of this kind, I shall be glad to make inquiries and write to him.
