asked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will make a statement on his talks with the Canadians on SGHW/CANDU and reactor choice.

Mr. Varley

The possibilities of collaborative arrangements on the CANDU and SGHWR were discussed at my meeting on 11th April with the Canadian Minister for Industry, Trade and Commerce.
