HC Deb 29 April 1974 vol 872 cc381-2W
Mr. Onslow

asked the Chairman of the Select Committee on House of Commons (Services) whether he will arrange to consider in the Committee the desirability of a display in Westminster Hall, for the benefit of the general public, of a selection of reproductions of the paintings, prints and other documents relating to the history of the Palace of Westminster and of both Houses of Parliament that are at present located in parts of the building to which the public are normally denied access.

Mr. Bottomley

Westminster Hall is under the joint control of the Lord Great Chamberlain, the Lord Chancellor and Mr. Speaker and it is for them to decide on any application which may be made for its special use.
