Mr. Norman Lamont

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table showing the number of people with unearned incomes in the following brackets: (1) less than £500 per annum, (2) £500 to £1,000, (3) £1,000 to £2,000, (4) £2,000 to £3,000, (5) £3,000 to £5,000, and (6) above £5,000.

For 1973–74 the estimated numbers are as follows:
