§ Mr. John SilkinThe numbers of houses built for renting and sold by the Commission for the New Towns to sitting tenants between October 1970 and 31st December 1973 were 668 at Hatfield and 762 at Welwyn Garden City, 20 per cent. and 13 per cent. respectively of the total number of dwellings built for renting by 347W the commission in the two towns. Details of other sales of houses by the two development corporations and the commission are not readily available, but the numbers are small.
