HC Deb 25 October 1973 vol 861 cc703-4W
Mr. Pink

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what action his Department is taking to combat the rapid growth of "Japanese seaweed" to avoid interference with shipping

Mr. Onslow

I understand that this seaweed is unlikely to present any hazard to shipping, and my Department sees no need at present to take action to supplement that already being put in hand by local authorities in affected areas.
