Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) if he will consult the Disabled Drivers' Action Group, the Joint Committee on Mobility for the Disabled and other appropriate organisations before taking any definite decisions on the conclusions of the report of Lady Sharp's inquiry into the vehicle service for the disabled;

(2) when he expects to provide copies of the report of Lady Sharp's inquiry into the vehicle service for the disabled to the Disabled Drivers' Action Group, the Joint Committee on Mobility for the Disabled and other appropriate organisations.

As soon as the report is published copies will be made available to interested organisations. These organisations and others concerned will have an opportunity to express their views before final decisions are taken.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services on what date he received the report of Lady Sharp's inquiry into the vehicle service for the disabled.
