§ Mr. John Grantasked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications what have been the effects so far of the current industrial action within the Post Office in relation to the public, to working time lost and to costs and revenue.
§ Sir J. EdenI understand from the Post Office that industrial action has caused some delay in meeting orders for telephone service and in the despatch of telephone bills.
The computer system at London (Heathrow) Airport for speeding the flow of cargo has been suspended, but there are manual fall-hack procedures.
