Mr. Parkinson

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what was the value of work done by local authorities' direct labour building departments and how many operatives they employed in 1968, 1970 and 1972; and if he will give the figures for the categories housing and non-housing new work, housing and non-housing repairs and maintenance.
