§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what discussions he has had, or intends to have, with EEC member countries other than France concerning the Channel Tunnel.
§ Mr. RipponMy right hon. Friend the Minister for Transport Industries has had discussions with a number of our European colleagues about the Channel Tunnel project. In addition, the European Conference of Ministers of Transport proposes to set up in the autumn a working group to examine the implications of the Channel Tunnel for European transport systems generally.
