HL Deb 08 May 1973 vol 342 cc400-1WA
The LORD BISHOP OF ROCHESTER

asked Her Majesty's Government:

When the Secretary of State for the Environment expects to announce a decision about the Town Map for the Medway Towns which was the subject of an inquiry by one of his inspectors on February 3, 1972.

LORD SANDFORD

My right honourable friend the Secretary of State for the environment received in September last the report of the inspector who held the 5-months inquiry into the Mid-Kent Town Maps. He is now considering it. It is not yet possible to say when a decision will be reached.
