§ Mr. LaneThis code, which is primarily for the guidance of the fire service, was prepared by a working party of the Joint Fire Prevention Committee of the Central Fire Brigades Advisory Councils for England and Wales and for Scotland, on which the fire service, local authorities and Government Departments are represented. No other bodies were consulted before the code was issued.
