§ 41. Mr. Warrenasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if member Governments of the EEC are allowed by EEC rules to pay subsidies to exporters to offset the effects of domestic inflation on prices.
§ Mr. EmerySubsidies on exports to other member countries are contrary to the provisions of the Treaty of Rome, but there are no EEC rules prohibiting subsidies on exports outside the Community.
