§ Mr. Bishopasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what amount was given in the last full year by his Department to the National Marriage Guidance and Family Council for the preservation of marriage; and if he will increase this amount in the future.
§ Mr. CarlisleThe grant to the National Marriage Guidance Council is fixed in advance for a three year period. For the period ending in March 1972 it was at the rate of £70,000 a year. For the triennium 1972–75 the grant has been increased to £130,000 a year.
