§ Mrs. ThatcherSeventeen letters have been received, mostly through hon. Members, about implications of the committee's memorandum on student/staff ratios for advanced level work. The replies have explained that the memorandum was commended to local education authorities by the local authority associations, and that it is a matter for individual authorities to consider its application.
