asked Her Majesty's Government:

On how many days the House sat in the present and previous two Sessions and on how many days in each Session printing and publication of Hansard was delayed by industrial action or other causes.

LORD WINDLESHAM

The House has sat on 121 occasions in the current Session and on 141 occasions in the previous Session. In the 1970–71 Session the House sat on 153 occasions. During the current Session the printing and publication ofHansard has been delayed twenty-seven times by industrial action and twelve times by other causes. In the previous Session there were delays on six occasions because of industrial action, and six through other causes. It is regretted that no figures are available for delays in the 1970–71 Session.
