HC Deb 24 July 1973 vol 860 c418W
Mr. Elystan Morgan

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will issue a circular to the new area health authorities in Wales urging them to site their new head offices in such areas as to give the maximum assistance to the economy of the respective areas which they serve.

Mr. Peter Thomas

I have already given advice on the provision of accommodation for the new health authorities indicating that prime considerations must be to secure the best possible health service to the community in the area, within the resources available, and to facilitate collaboration with the related social services.
