§ Mr. Chichester-ClarkI am keeping the operation of the unfair dismissals provision of the Industrial Relations Act under review. I also have the statutory redundancies payments scheme under review. An opportunity of reviewing the situation as regards collective dismissals will be provided by a draft directive prepared by the Commission of the European Economic Communities, at present under consideration by the Economic and Social Committee which advises the Council of Ministers.
