§ Mr. Peter ThomasA White Paper will be published shortly setting out the Government's proposals for the rate support grant settlement for 1974–75 together with an indication of the savings on relevant expenditure which are being sought. This will still allow for a substantial rate of growth in local authority services. It is not possible to identify separately the proportion of savings to
